The "Bank Center" building is located in the financial, banking and administrative centre of Budapest, only a few blocks away from the Danube River, the Parliament building, and the headquarters of other important organisations in Hungary. District 5, known as "Belváros" (Inner City), is the heart of the administrative and business centre of both Budapest and Hungary. This city-centre area has a special atmosphere: plenty of green space, surrounding parks, nearby restaurants, cafés and countless shops make spending time in the area a convenient and pleasant experience.
The architectural plan of the Bank Center was created by the internationally recognised Hungarian architect Dr József Finta, commissioned by Olimpya and York, a Canadian real estate development firm. The four ten-storey tower buildings (Gránit, Platina I, Platina II and Citi) form a prominent complex built in 1995, just as notable as the neighbouring National Bank of Hungary and the former Stock Exchange Palace.
The conference rooms are located on the first floor of the Platina Tower, with a view of Szabadság Square and the National Bank of Hungary building. The larger room can accommodate 100–110 people, and the smaller one up to 90. The two interconnecting conference rooms can comfortably host up to 120 guests.
On the ground floor and in the basement of the Bank Center, there are several retail shops, restaurants and cafés to serve the needs of visitors. The Bank Center's self-service restaurant, which can cater for 90 people, offers a wide variety of menu options and, in addition to its meals, provides complimentary Wi-Fi internet access. The Bank Center building also houses a newly established and fully equipped, premium-category fitness centre spanning 600 square metres. On weekdays, between 6 am and 10 pm, Bank Center Fitness offers a wide range of fitness and wellness services, including aerobics and spinning classes.
